Wywiad z Alice, rodowitą Włoszką, która przybyła do Kielc w ramach wolontariatu. Dziewczyna bardzo polubiła Kielce, które uważa za swój dom. Zapraszamy do zapozniania się z opinią Alice o Polsce.
Who are you? Briefly describe yourself (where do you come from, what do you study, etc.)
Alice: I'm Alice, I come from Bologna, Italy. I am 28 years old and I am no longer a student. I have a Master's degree in Psychology - I studied in Padua.
What has surprised you in Poland?
Alice: The warmth of the people. The beautiful landscapes. That winter is not so cold as everybody thinks in western Europe
How did you come up with the idea of studying in Poland?
Alice: Actually I chose my volunteering project, not the country. It was held in Kielce so I agreed to come here - but of course I didn't know anything about the city at that time.
Do you remember the first days of studying in Poland? Describe the struggles you went through:
Alice: Actually I didn't struggle at all, I had a great welcome to my new life. I had a nice home, the weather was a bit wet (august) but the sun came again soon, and many people let me inside their circle of friends very soon.
Do you know any famous people from Poland?
Alice: Yep. Wislawa Szymborska, Adam Mickiewicz, Kaczyński (president), Sienkiewicz, Chopin, Marie Curie Skłodowska, Karol Wojtyła (Jan Pawel II).
Describe the places in Poland, that have a positive influence on you:
Alice: All the Świętokrzyskie region. I love the woods, the small villages and the hills. Then also historical cities as Krakow, Gdańsk, Toruń, Wrocław. But Kielce is my home!
Tell us about the country you've always wanted to visit, but still haven't:
Alice: Portugal I think
Thank you very much for your time. We really appreciate it and ensure we will use this interview for our purposes only. Good luck and have fun :)
